The National Center for Safe Routes to School (the folks who INVENTED National Bike to School Day) will attend our Lincoln Park Pit Stop and have invited friends from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, DDOT, Safe Kids Worldwide, and more.
Shortly after students arrive at school, members of Congress and leaders of bicycle advocacy organizations will hold a press conference to announce new survey data about Americans’ attitudes towards federal funding for biking and walking. The press conference will take place at 9:30 AM at 2nd and C St NE.
