The Capitol Hill Public School Parent Organization will hold its October 19 meeting at Miner Elementary. Attached is the agenda for the meeting.
There are two important candidate forums coming up in the next week:
Wednesday, October 20, 6 – 8 p.m., ANC6B Candidates Meet and Greet in the North Hall of Eastern Market. 22 candidates are running. CHPSPO is not co-sponsoring this forum, however, Brent, Peabody, Tyler and Watkins are located within the boundaries of ANC6B, and these schools are encouraged to advertise this candidates forum.
Monday, October 25, 6 – 7:30 p.m., Ward 6 School Board Candidates Forum, Maury Elementary School, 1250 Constitution Avenue, NE Additional details: Parking available on-site (lot is accessed from 12th Place NE). CHPSPO is co-sponsoring this forum, and all schools are asked to advertise the forum on their list serves.
I will be out of town for work on October 19, and unable to attend the meeting. Barbara Riehle has kindly offered to chair the meeting, and Heather Schoell has graciously volunteered to take notes. If you have any additions to the agenda, please let Barbara know at barbara. Thanks!

Ward 6 Public School Parents Organization
